These terms apply to your use of the Proximo portal at app.proximo.team. By logging in you accept them.
The portal is provided by Proximo Growth Ltd, trading as Proximo, registered in England and Wales, company number 17409848. Registered office: 25 Gustard Wood, Wheathampstead, St Albans, AL4 8RR.
If your organisation has a services agreement with us, that agreement governs. Where these terms and your agreement differ, your agreement wins. These terms fill the gaps and apply to every person who logs in, including people who did not sign the agreement themselves.
01What the portal is
The portal shows you the business development activity we are carrying out on your behalf: companies contacted, conversations had, meetings booked, and campaign progress.
It is a reporting tool, not a system of record. Keep your own copies of anything you need to retain.
02Your account
Accounts are created by us. There is no public sign-up.
Your log-in details are personal to you. Do not share them, and do not let anyone else use your account. Tell us immediately if you think your account has been used by someone else.
Tell us promptly when someone in your organisation should no longer have access, and we will remove them.
03What you can do
You can mark a lead as Go, which is your instruction to us to book the meeting, or No go, which tells us not to pursue it. You can message us on a lead thread. Where an approval step is enabled for your organisation, you can approve a proposed firm, decline it, or ask us to revisit it later.
You cannot create, alter or delete any other record.
04What you must not do
Use the portal through the interface we provide, and not by any other route, including direct calls to the underlying application programming interface.
Do not extract, copy, scrape or reuse the information in the portal beyond your own business purposes. Do not attempt to access data belonging to anyone else. Do not share access outside your organisation.
05What the information is, and is not
Market feedback, decline reasons and insight cards are anecdotal. They are gathered from conversations and passed to you as we received them. We do not verify them and they are not advice or a recommendation. Any decision you take in response to them is yours.
06What you will not see
Firms we have approached that have not replied are shown as an aggregate count and sector mix only, and are not named. Individuals at target firms are never named. The outreach itself, meaning emails, messages, call recordings, transcripts and our notes, is not shown. No other client’s data, activity or existence is visible.
07Development and availability
The portal is under continuous development. Features may be added, changed or removed. The core function described above will remain.
We aim to keep the portal available during working hours but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Portal downtime does not affect the outreach work, which continues regardless.
If you have any difficulty with access, or think something is not working as described here, tell us and we will put it right.
08Security and data
Each client’s data is separated at the database layer, and client accounts cannot access another client’s data. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the portal. You are responsible for the security of your own devices and log-in details.
We hold your name, work email address and log-in activity in order to provide and secure your account. Our privacy notice at proximo.team/privacy explains how we handle personal data.
09Ownership
The portal, and the prospect data behind it, remain ours. The details of meetings we book for you become yours. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything else.
10Ending access
Access ends when your organisation’s agreement with us ends. If you ask within 30 days of that date, we will send an export of the meeting details we booked for you. After 30 days we are not obliged to retain it.
We may suspend access immediately if these terms are breached, or if fees are unpaid under your agreement.
11Liability
Where your organisation has a services agreement with us, the liability clause in that agreement applies to your use of the portal.
Where there is no such agreement, our liability to you in connection with the portal is limited to £1,000, and neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
12General
We may change these terms. If we do, we will tell you and the current version will always be available in the portal.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
